I am so impressed with today’s young people. This week, Larry and I presented at a social work class at UVM (The University of Vermont). I could not believe I was chosen by a student who interned at the Howard Center for a period of time. While there, she saw our movie and found it inspiring. She decided to join the Intelligence Parade. It was the most amazing experience to be educating intelligent minds in the presumption of competence. These people will go on to educate future generations to be in the right mind to presume intelligence does live in the minds of all individuals if only the communication is there to give light where there was darkness. Larry made great poetry with his prose. I think the students were impressed with how much traveling we have done. The most important thing is it gave my confidence the boost to keep going. I hope my fans go to every school to try to get the movie shown. Teachers need to see how much all kids need communication.

It is the New Year and your man Tracy has made a resolution to be more in tune with the challenges others have in their lives. Jeanette has helped me understand the way to multi-task in the peaceful way she does. It is important to not get caught up in the drama but just plug down the path with calm but assertive energy. The best thing people can do to help me is to allow me to have input in my life.
It is hard to listen to people thinking out loud for you. Jeanette guides me in the right direction but keeps her opinion to herself. She respects my choices and lets me make mistakes. I have often felt like others treat me like their puppet show, trying to impress others that they can try to support my typing. It is not right to be in this profession unless you have the attitude to truly be in the mindset to be helping with no ulterior motives. To do otherwise is not the right thing to do because it damages trust for us folks on the periphery of society. We need to know that people who help us are genuine. The main thing is to let us make mistakes and learn who we are. I hope the people in the learning phase know it is not helpful for you to chatter instead of observing our body language and giving us time to type in peace.
My resolution is to ground myself in order to find the peace to accept the things and people I am unable to change. The Gods have given me the best team and my goal is to make other people seek out their best team. It is not easy. However we must find the gifted ones to help get our message to the politicians so they know the need for increasing education funding and giving us the best services possible.
I urge you to write to your local politicians to try to get them to host a screening of the film at their State House. It is important for the politicians to join forces with us to spread the message that the presumption of competence is paramount. Let’s take our message to the people. Let’s go to the streets like Martin Luther King ringing the path to freedom. I will bring my gong and Larry will bring his tambourine. I wish you all happiness, peace and true friends for 2011.
